Charity Dinners

Creole broiled catfish with sweet potatoes
I love making private dinners to support great charities. Typically, I make a soul food meal, but I could make a presidential meal, Creole or lowcountry meal. Here’s a typically menu:
- Fried chicken (option to have it Prince’s Hot Chicken-style)
- Creole broiled catfish
- Mixed greens with smoked turkey
- Black-eyed peas with smoked ham hocks
- Macaroni and cheese
- Cornbread
- Seasonal dessert
- Hibiscus aid (beverage)
Upon request, this meal can be made gluten-free or pork-free.
Here’s how it works:
- The charity offers one of my meals as an auction item bid.
- Someone from the charity, or someone who supports the charity, agrees to cover the cost of groceries.
- If the auction is successful, the winning bidder contacts me to arrange the date and time of the meal.
