Black Smoke: The African American BBQ Experience with Adrian Miller

06/26/2021 @ 11:30 am 1:00 pm MDT

BBQ is a signature cornerstone of American foodways, but most “cueheads” don’t appreciate the role that Black barbecuers, pitmasters, and restaurateurs have played in making it so. On Saturday, June 26, join the Center for Culinary Culture in welcoming certified BBQ judge Adrian Miller, the James Beard Award-winning author of BLACK SMOKE: AFRICAN AMERICANS AND THE UNITED STATES OF BARBECUE, to MORNING CALL for a colorful tale of Black perseverance, culinary innovation, and entrepreneurship. ADMISSION IS FREE WITH RSVP at https://bit.ly/350Sdd7.

**At registration, buy an author-signed copy of BLACK SMOKE for $40. A portion of all sales support the Center for Culinary Culture, home of The Cocktail Collection and EatsDrinksTV. Supplies are limited, so please order ASAP!
