Adrian Miller to be inducted into the Blacks in Colorado Hall of Fame on Saturday, February 3rd!

February 3, 2024

The Denver Public Library is excited to announce 2024’s Juanita Gray Community Service Awards nominees and three new additions to the Blacks in Colorado Hall of Fame! Celebrate their brilliant leadership and accomplishments on Saturday, February 3 at the Blair-Caldwell African American Research Library from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. The award recipients will be announced at the ceremony and the newly selected Hall of Fame inductees will be introduced. Anyone is welcome to join the ceremony. Refreshments and entertainment will be provided. Take a look below for a list of this year’s nominees and Blacks in Colorado Hall of Fame inductees. Learn more about each leader by reading their bios here.

Adrian Miller is one of three Blacks in Colorado Hall of Fame inductees. “I’m deeply honored to get this recognition,” Miller said. “It’s so special to get an award from the Denver Public Library system given all of the time that I spent in libraries researching my books on African American food traditions. I’ve got much love for libraries!”

The event is free and open to the public. If your guest(s) can’t attend in person, join us via Zoom on the day of the event, or register if you’d like to receive an email reminder.
