Thank you for your interest in this holiday experience! Please find additional details below to help answer any questions you might have.
What is it?
This event features Chef Bill Yosses, former White House Executive Pastry Chef for Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama, alongside me, an expert in presidential food history. Together, we will share engaging and informative stories about how First Families have celebrated end-of-year holidays through culinary traditions.
The event format is flexible to accommodate your preferences and may include some or all of the following options:
- Individual 20-minute presentations by each speaker, either via PowerPoint or verbal lecture
- A conversational interview between Chef Yosses and myself
- An interview session conducted by a representative from your organization
- A presentation from me with a cooking demonstration by Chef Yosses featuring an authentic White House recipe
Each format includes a minimum 10-minute audience Q&A session with attendees.
Is this a daytime or evening event?
We offer flexibility and can accommodate either a lunchtime or after-hours schedule. Subject to our availability on your preferred date, we will work with you to determine the timing that best suits your company’s needs.
What about the food?
Yosses and I will collaborate with your chosen caterer to select the holiday presidential dishes to be featured. These presidential recipes may constitute the entire menu or complement your caterer’s usual offerings. As the host, you are responsible for coordinating and financing all food arrangements, which are not included in our service fees.
How much will it cost?
Pricing is dependent on the scope of services you select, whether it is a discussion, presentation, or cooking demonstration by Chef Yosses and myself. Please contact us directly to discuss pricing options tailored to your event needs and budget.
Please note, if travel is required, travel expenses will be additional. Chef Yosses and I will be traveling from New York City and Denver, Colorado, respectively.
When can my company host this event?
Contact us, and we’ll schedule a date!
Can my company make a contribution to a designated charity as part of this event?
Yes, we’re willing to discuss ways to designate a portion of our fees to a charity of your choice, or ours, that’s consistent with our values. Let’s talk and then give! Here are some nonprofit organizations that we love:
- The Food Tank— a think tank for better food systems.
- Hunger Free Colorado
- The National Food Museum
- Stone Barns Center for Food & Agriculture
- Wish4Life.org–advocates for better food & nutrition for pediatric cancer patients.
My company has already made its holiday plans for 2025. Will this experience be available in 2026?
Absolutely! Let’s talk and get something on the books.
