Adrian Miller will receive the 12th Annual Literati Award from the Friends of the Southern Methodist University Libraries! The Literati Award honors “an individual who uses the written word to advance the ideals of creativity, conviction, innovation and scholarship and who have had a significant impact on culture and the community through their work.”
Miller will receive the award at the Table of Contents event will take place on Saturday, March 19, 2022, at the Fondren Centennial Reading Room on the SMU Campus at 6 p.m.
“I’m so grateful to get this prestigious award,” Miller said. “I’m humbled by the company I’m keeping with past award recipients. What a group of amazing people. I can’t wait to share stories from Black Smoke at the Table of Contents event. Thank you to the Friends of SMU Libraries for bestowing this honor upon me.”
